Darts from Vienna. Rethought from the ground up.
NEXTDART is a young Viennese startup. We turn a soft-tip dart machine into a system of its own — with self-developed software, our own game modes and a leaderboard across every venue — and install it in bars and venues across Austria.
- Vienna — Based in 1220 Vienna
- 2026 — first machines in everyday use
- 15 — game modes, built in-house
- 2 — pilot venues
What we do
- Our own software: We develop Nextdart OS, the game modes, the LED sequences on the board and the live leaderboard ourselves in Vienna — and keep building on them.
- The machine: We have the base unit produced by our manufacturer. In Vienna we adapt every machine to our standards and the European market: our own software and game modes, payment hardware for euros, German-language controls, and labelling and paperwork to Austrian requirements.
- Installation & service: We deliver, install, notify the authority of the placement and look after the machines ourselves — with a direct line instead of a call centre.
Who is behind it
NEXTDART was founded by Makoto Scheinast. The software and game modes are developed in-house, and the venues are looked after personally. NEXTDART is a sole proprietorship based in Vienna.
Where the machine stands
- Hendricks Café & Sportsbar — Bahnhof Praterstern, 1020 Wien
- Kennys Snooker Bar — Industriestraße 5, 2201 Gerasdorf bei Wien
