Bobs 27 — Doubles drill starting on 27

The classic doubles drill: you start on 27 points and throw at one fixed target per round for 21 rounds, first D1, then D2 and so on up to D20, and finally the bullseye. Every hit scores twice the round number, and a round without a hit takes that value off once. If your score falls to 0 or below, the game is over. Three daily quests give every session something to aim for.

How to play

1. One target per round: In round 1 only D1 counts, in round 2 only D2 and so on up to D20. In round 21 only the bullseye counts, not the outer bull.
2. Score points: Every dart in the target double scores twice the round number, so D7 is worth 14 points and the bullseye 50. All three darts of a round can score.
3. SPLAT: If none of your three darts hits, the value is taken off once. If your score falls to 0 or below, it's SPLAT and the game is over.
4. Streak and quests: Hit in three rounds in a row and you get 10 bonus points, again after six, nine and so on. On top come three daily quests, such as surviving 5 rounds.
5. The end: Survive round 21 and you have a FULL RUN. The summary shows your points, your stars and the machine's record.

Tips

• Without a single hit the game ends after round 5: 2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + 10 = 30 points off a start of 27. Every early double buys you room.
• Singles and trebles of the target number score nothing. Aim straight at the double; a dart just outside costs you no more than a single.
• If you go into round 21 with 50 points or fewer, you need a bullseye there. Otherwise the round costs 50 and it's SPLAT.
