X01 — 301 to 1501, down to zero
Everyone starts on the same score, anywhere from 301 to 1501, and throws it down to exactly zero, turn by turn. The out rule sets how the last dart has to land: on a double (double out), on a double or triple (master out) or anywhere at all (straight out). Whenever a single dart can check out, the segments that would do it light up blue on the board.

How to play
- Choose your game: Pick 301 to 1501 and an out rule. 501 starts on double out, every other variant on straight out.
- Score down: You throw three darts per turn. Every hit comes off what you have left.
- Bust: Go below zero, leave exactly 1 on double or master out, or hit zero with the wrong segment, and the whole turn counts for nothing. You are back on the score you started the turn with.
- Checkout: The first to reach exactly zero wins once the round has been played out. If someone else checks out in that round too, it is a draw.
- Round limit: 301 has 18 rounds, 501 has 20, 701 has 29, 901 has 37, 1101 has 45 and 1501 has 61. After that, whoever is closest to zero wins, and a tie is a draw.
Tips
- On double out, leave yourself an even number of 40 or less so a single double finishes it.
- A score of 1 is always a bust on double and master out. Plan to leave at least 2.
- Checking out first doesn't end it yet: anyone still to throw in that round can draw level.
