Classic Dart Game Modes

X01 and Cricket are the classics of darts. In X01, Nextdart OS shows you the way to the finish, and the segments that check out with one dart light up blue. In Cricket the board shows only the targets: green is closed, dark is dead. With an account, singles games with at least two logged-in players count towards your ELO rating.

All Classic modes

X01 — 301 to 1501, down to zero

Everyone starts on the same score, anywhere from 301 to 1501, and throws it down to exactly zero, turn by turn. The out rule sets how the last dart has to land: on a double (double out), on a double or triple (master out) or anywhere at all (straight out). Whenever a single dart can check out, the segments that would do it light up blue on the board.

Cricket — Close numbers, then score

Standard cricket only uses 15 to 20 and the bull. Three marks close a number, and after that every extra hit scores points for as long as an opponent still has it open. Close every target without trailing on points and you win. There are also three variants: Cut Throat, Random and Wild.
